FactoryFix announced new updates coming this April that transform how manufacturers recruit talent. The new Copilot Customization framework gives customers unprecedented control over their AI recruiting partner - customize candidate evaluation criteria, fine-tune sourcing strategies, and personalize communication styles.

In the midst of our second development cycle of 2025, we're excited to share a preview of the new updates coming to FactoryFix customers. These enhancements give manufacturing recruiters more control over their AI recruiting partner, Copilot, transforming it from a helpful tool into a true extension of their team.

Your Priorities, Your Voice: Introducing Copilot Customization

At the center of this update is Copilot Customization, a framework that allows you to tailor how your AI recruiting partner evaluates candidates, who it targets, and how it communicates with potential hires.

When posting jobs, you'll soon have access to three new customization sections:

  1. Candidate Evaluation Preferences let you control how strictly Copilot interprets requirements, specify which skills and backgrounds should be prioritized, and define clear criteria for what truly matters to your team.
  2. Sourcing Strategy Controls give you the ability to set candidate quality thresholds, identify target companies where you'd like to recruit talent from, and specify companies to exclude from your sourcing efforts.
  3. Communication Style Settings allow you to personalize your Copilot with a name that represents your company, select a tone that matches your style, adjust how assertive Copilot should be, set timing windows for messaging, and highlight specific selling points that make your opportunities unique.

Already Available: We've added a dedicated Company Overview section to your account settings (accessible now for admin users). This feature allows you to provide important context about your business - what you manufacture, who you service, your competitive differentiators, and insights into your company culture. Adding this context immediately improves candidate scoring and will soon enhance how Copilot interacts with applicants.

Streamlining Communications with Batch Messaging

Our new Batch Messaging feature will allow you to communicate with multiple candidates at once. Select candidates using checkboxes, write your message with personalization fields, and send—maintaining individual conversations while reducing repetitive work. This feature will be most helpful for interview scheduling, hiring event invitations, position updates, and other common communications.
