What's New in FactoryFix: Post Roles that Travel

Check out what's new in FactoryFix this Fall

Some of the hardest roles to staff are the ones that travel, a tech covering three states, an installer on the road for weeks. Until now, they didn't fit how FactoryFix posts a job. This release fixes that: you can now post roles that travel, and a round of updates helps every search go further.

Field and Travel Jobs

Teams can now post field and travel jobs directly in FactoryFix, without tying them to a single worksite. The AI recruiter searches for candidates near a home base or nationwide, depending on the role's requirements.

It also explains the travel requirements and screens for willingness to meet them. Whether the role involves day trips, overnight travel, or extended assignments, this surfaces fit earlier and keeps a recruiter's time on candidates who are comfortable with the work from the start.

Keep a candidate from being contacted again

When a team decides a candidate shouldn't hear from them again, Do Not Contact makes that stick across every job in the account. It's set from the candidate's profile, and the AI recruiter stops all outreach, screening, and messaging for that person, so another role or teammate can't restart it. The restriction can be lifted anytime, and it governs activity through FactoryFix without touching the ATS.

‍

Remind Candidates Before Interviews

For interviews booked through FactoryFix, the AI recruiter now reminds candidates about two hours before their interview by text or email, so more of them show up on time. Reminders run automatically for phone, video, and on-site interviews, and land in the existing conversation thread where the team can see them and respond to any replies.

Also new

Bring Message Templates into Talent Search. Recruiters can now use saved message templates when adding candidates to a job from Talent Search, without switching to Manage Jobs.

Local AI recruiter numbers. Texts from your AI recruiter texts now use a number near the job's location when available, instead of almost always coming from the same area code.

Expand candidate enrichment coverage. FactoryFix now checks more sources when refreshing candidate profiles, helping fill gaps in contact details and work history so profiles are more complete and usable.

Improvements to Smart Talent Search. When using natural language search, Smart Talent Search now reads what a recruiter is looking for and applies the right filters automatically, including location and language, so searches surface the right candidates without manual setup.

More reach for niche roles. When a hard-to-fill role runs out of matches in the talent pool, the AI recruiter now reaches additional talent sources to keep the search going, so niche roles like commercial HVAC service technicians or refrigeration technicians have more qualified candidates to draw from.
